When I was reading that, my heart just felt all soft inside. I find that 100% true as whenever I feel down or currently for most of us, stressed, I find comfort in Him. I'll just turn to Him in prayer and basically talk to Him like a friend...invisible friend, in a way... and I'm not alone. After that, I just feel fine. Happy again. Stress-free. Not only I know that He is there to comfort me, but also He is there to ensure that all my effort will not go to waste/He won't allow my hurt to overpower me, etc...

What ever the problem may be, talk to Him...He won't bite ;-)

Just a quick post.

Yesterday Cheah Yen sent out an mms commentating the checkers competition they had during cell yesterday. Reading it was really fun...as usual...it is afterall Cheah Yen we're talking about =P kekekekeke -- Cheah Yen, it's a compliment =D

Anyway, I just wanted to write that we've had a share of each other. Learning and growing in the Lord together last semester. I've certainly gained alot! It's good that we're spilt into different cell groups this semester to spread our knowledge, joy, talent and passion for God with other people...and of course, continue to learn from other people as well. We may not be spending as much time together as last semester but we WILL keep in touch, YES??? **fierce look** hehehe.

Look! Cottlesloe...our beloved (former) cell leader in action =P

didn't we all have fun....? ^^

We are special

We are all special in God's eyes.

As what Dr Charles Kraft said, "we are created in God's image - a masterpiece of God". When we continually bow our heads instead of lifting it up high, continually saying that we are dumb, ugly, incapable, etc...that is the devil speaking to us. Toying with our minds, whispering into our ear those discouraging words and lies. With those words constantly playing in our minds, we are automatically disabled/paralysed from even trying to succeed! I feel helpless when a friend is in that condition. But when we think that we are masterpieces of God, a masterpiece is something great and beautiful...perfect. Sometimes i think that it's "mind over matter" which means, we are what we think we can be. This thought is so powerful that all the devil's whispers are filtered and heard no more.

And we are not a mistake! Each of us are planned intricately before God created anything. He planned each and everyone of us to happen/born into this world. Wow...every brush stroke on a painting (every cell in our body) is put in it's place on the canvas...a perfect painting. Just thinking about it, makes me feel so loved.

God loves us so much that we are the only creatures who He has redeemed, adopted and entrusted with the holy spirit. God knows that it is our nature to sin - human NATURE to sin - We can't help but to sin! Yet, He chose to redeem us, adopt us when sinners are supposed to be abandoned and entrust us with something - not just anything but the holy spirit.

Finally, God sent Jesus to live as a human, died and rose again as MAN. Jesus understands all the pain and joy that we have been through or are going through. Sometimes when you watch television or something, you see one character crying and some friend comes around trying to console him/her. Then that character crying would say to the friend, "you won't understand". Can you imagine that? Well, good news. Even though your friend can't understand you, God does. He doesn't just understand but He knows it even before you telling Him anything. Isn't that a relief?

anyway.. how's everyone's 1st wk of class.. good? great? bad? boring?? i do hope is alright.. this weekend is Freshies' Welcome.. i can't wait for it to come.. as this will b my 3rd Freshies' Welcome..

still remember beginning of this yr.. alot of our cell members were new.. but they are not anymore.. besides.. they became even more active in church.. n of coz we brought one to Christ.. that's our dear Yan Hua...

u guys n gals muz b very excited our the title of Cell Reunion.. right? ain't you? oh well.. i'm here juz to give suggestions onli..

though this is the end of the 1st week of class.. n it sounds like still got long way to go to finish one semester.. but oh well.. juz try to think it another way.. we got 3 weeks away to our 1st week of holiday in this semester.. hurray!!!..

Transperth - Smart Rider

here is juz some information about the Smart Rider..

as i know there was once, Jaclyn forgotten to tag off from the bus.. n she doesn't know what to do.. n she tried to ask the next bus whether she can tag on and tag off or not.. but the bus driver said cannot..

the correct answer is actually CAN!!!

as i read abit to know more bout Smart Rider.. there's this 15 min rule as i believe most of us know where we transfer from one place to another within 15mins... there's no charge..

whereas there's another called the 60 min rule.. which if u fail to tag off.. it will continue to charge til the next tag on..

'an exception to the default fare rule will aply if the next tag on occurs within 60 mins of the previous tag on.
In this case, the next tag on location will instead be processed as the incomplete tag off location.
This ensures that passengers are charged the relevant fare rather than the penalty fare, in the event of unintentional failure to tag off whilst transferring from one service to another.
This rule only applies when tag on occurred onboard a bus.'

so hope this info helps u all.. hehe.. but the most important is remember to TAG OFF!!!

so, i think i'll just post something (and also update our...sort of...dying off blog..keke)

I'm actually in uni now. Using the computers in the library lounge. So sad, the MACINTOSH computers in the building 308 (exclusively for Biomed school students =P) is packed.
You know what happened in just this first half hour of coming to uni?????
well, it'll make me sound dumb but nevermind. I'm bored.

I sort of rushed to uni but not to the extend of gobbling down my breakfast and "mandi kerbau". Suppose to be having chemistry lab. I thought I made it just on time...chun chun at 9.00 a.m. BUT THEN.....................went to the doors of the lab and saw nobody inside. what a bummer....=S We were suppose to present our chemistry posters, our project for the semester (that's why this lab is so important, but all labs are just as important). Plus, my partner in the project messaged me at about 8.30 saying that she had problems...What the???!!!

Oh well, after finding out that I've got no lab, I went off to find a computer. And here I am!

**huge grin**

Apparently lab is only starting at 10.00 am. They didn't say anything about starting the lab at an unusual time!!!!! so evil!!!! they made all the students come and there's no lab till 10. hmm...I shouldn't say ALL students because I didn't see ALL students. Their lab supervisor probably TOLD them what time this week's lab would start...hmph.

Anyway, I'll be extra early for this lab then...and I've got free time =D
I didn't experience any loss and I'm happy...having an early day is good. keke...

My Couz had accepted Christ!!

my couz had accepted CHRIST last night as her personal Saviour and Lord...

last night.. b4 we go to airport that few hours.. my bro took the opportunity to talk to her n tell her how God works in trenmendous ways in our family.. n asked her whether she would want to accept Jesus as her God or not..

i think that time she's not that ready yet.. but anyhow.. she had said the sinner's prayer with my bro.. n i know this is a step of faith to much more better things in future..

n my bro n I are now sending her back as a Christ ambassador for the Chia Family to reached out to the lost one..

i think is a good thing for her to go back as she will b working with one of my church member back home as her christian faith is quite strong.. i believe my couz can learn alot from her..

let us juz continue to uphold her in prayer as she's now starting her new journey of life with Christ..

1. Her favourite colour is Pink since young.
F, used to like yellow when in primary school, becoz my sport’s house was yellow. Like blue when in high school, becoz the same reason as previous. during college time, i like purple for awhile.. haha.. Coincidently like pink when I came to Australia. Haha..
2. Her 1st language that she wanted to learn was Japanese.
T, yes, my 1st language that I wanted to learn was Japanese as when I was in primary school.. the wave in Msia was Jpop n not Kpop. But now I want to learn of coz is Korean.
3. She had finished her piano til Grade 8.
F, I onli finished my piano til Grade 5.
4. She starts learning guitar all because of one guy.
F, I started learning guitar is not bcoz of a guy, but bcoz of my bro was teaching in a class, n I might as well learn it together. But I used to go n search the net about how to play guitar in a more advance level all bcoz of a guy that I used to admire.
5. She loves driving manual car.
T, yes, I loves driving manual car. Yan Hua MUST know the answer.
6. She used to crazy over S.H.E.
T, I used to like S.H.E a lot in 2004 bcoz of one guy classmate that share one of their song to me. my room used to be full of their poster.. i got pics as evidence.. but not here with me.. haha..
7. She went to The Corrs and 5566’s concert for FREE.
F, if you know how to twist and turn, I actually went to Moffatts and not The Corrs(is a Family Band) and is 911 not 5566. And I went for FREE is true as one of my church member back home used to work for EMI, therefore I got free ticket to go for these two concerts.
8. She called herself Kimberly bcoz she loves Pink Ranger.
F, I called Kimberly is bcoz my mom gave it to me. And when I use the name, I didn’t know that there’s a Kimberly in Power Ranger. Haha..
9. She loves to do art-work.
T, I love to do all sorts of art-work, such as cross-stitch, friendship band, making cards and others.
10. She always goes to clubbing when she was in high-school.
F, during the Curtin Idol Final was my 1st time in a pub.
11. She always has been a prefect from primary til high-school.
T, I was a prefect during my std 3,5 and 6 in primary and form 3 & 4 in high-shchool.
12. Her 1st ambition was to become a doctor.
T, if you are from Msia, you should know that in primary school, there’s a card asked u to fill up what’s ur 3 ambition, n since std 1 – 6, all my 1st ambition is to become a doctor. Too bad it didn’t come true. Haha..
13. She always wanted to be a star (actress or singer that type).
T, in std 5, me n another 7 girl-friends of mine grouped ourselves and given a group name n wanted to record our “song” and send it to those company for audition. But end up, we didn’t have the courage to do it. Haha..
14. She doesn’t eat chillies but eat curry/tom yam.
T, as I don’t like chillies, but I love to eat Tom Yam, Curry mee.. whatever spicy thing that are in liquid form, I also like. *Yum yum*
15. She got her 1st handphone in the age of 16.
F, I onli got my 1st handphone in the age of 18 when I 1st enter college.
16. She climbed Mt Kinabalu b4.
F, I only went to Sibu, Sarawak in East Msia onli. Haven’t get to go til Sabah so far. Haha..
17. She has accumulated of 2 years working experience.
T, as I have accumulated 2 years working experience. That would be when I’ve finish my SAM (foundation yr) and I worked for almost 6 months, then on and off worked for that particular company about another 1 yr plus. then after I came here also have worked some part time. Hehe^^
18. She got at least one friend from different states in Msia.
T, as I know a lot of friends through National Christian Youth Camp.
19. She eats shit when she was young.
T, that time was still a small baby.. n when I shit ady.. mom open the nappy n leave it there.. n I went and take it n put into my mouth.. *yucks*
20. Australia is her 1st overseas country.
F, Singapore is my 1st overseas country but went by bus. Whereas Australia is my 1st 4 seasons country by flight.

Hey people, just thought of sharing something which I learnt a few years ago, which I’ve happily forgotten, but which God reminded me through Ps Teresa that day.
Remember when she was sharing about her struggle with God when she first came to Australia? How she suffered physically and financially, and she doubted God’s promises for her life? Then God silenced her by saying “I am not a liar” and she wept and it was on her knees when she felt the peace of God enveloping her. That was when I remembered a sermon I heard last time where the preacher gave us an illustration of peace. The story goes like this:

There was once an art competition and the theme was ‘peace’. So artists from all over participated and came up with lots of pictures illustrating peace, how they pictured peace to be. There were paintings of lush green grasses and mountains, even a hen protecting her little chicks under her feathers. But the winning piece was this picture, illustrating a violent storm at the sea, with a boat being tossed around. And within the boat, is a child sleeping peacefully as though nothing is happening.

I think this is the kind of peace that God provides for us. He did not promise us a bed of roses once we accept Him into our lives, but He does promise us peace and guidance when we’re in trouble. And we can continue resting in Him despite all the turmoil happening around us. I was really encouraged when reminded of this. Hope this will benefit you all too..

Burning Your Bridges

Hey people,
While praying, this was the word that came to me. Burning your bridges and I just want to share this term to everyone so that you all can know. Burning Your bridges means that don't look back, don't walk back the ways in the pass, and start to look forward.
I believe that all of us had some pass that were "good" or some pass that everytime when something similar happens, we would tend to "wish we were back in that state". But I sensed that this is a season of maturity and of growing up, and we cannot let the things in the pass hold us from a even greater or better future for us.
Just want to encourage you all to think about "burning your bridges" and rely on God's strength and step up, and move forward to another level.

got this from my friend's blog, thought of posting it here since it's sooooooooooooooooooooo SWEET!!!!! It totally speaks what i experienced during my childhood times and i miss them......aih, what are the childhood of children nowadays?

we grew up watching Transformers, Thundercats, Woody Woodpecker, Chipmunks, Mickey Mouse, Jem, Mask, Ninja Turtles, Voltron, Baja Hitam, Ultraman n not forgettin POWER RANGERS n BUGS BUNNY!!!and anderra yippa mice? :), McGyver ?

had to brush our teeths during recess at primary school? had to hold plastic cups, line up with your classmates side by side and start brushing our teeths at some open area... or maybe near some drain??

do you still remember that we had 'dentist' rooms where we had to have our teeths check?

not to forget our 'program minum susu' in primary school.. everybody is suppose to buy like cartons of milk that costed 30 cents.. and you would see everyone drinking it everyday...its d UHT milk...

the teachers who would want to punish us must use yellow rulers to hit us on our palms?? 1 metre length..

that a bowl of mihun soup or some soup only costed 50 cents at the school canteen...

went to some sundry shop near the school or to the 'roti' man waiting outside our schools so that we can buy junk food like chickedees, mamee, ding dang with some toys in it, 'Ti Kam', ice-cream and we would play games like monopoly, uno, old maid, and all other card games like that...

another fun time would be during Pendidikan Jasmani. the boys would play football while the girls would play netball... and it would be like we were playing in the world cup...

but of course. the best would be main guli, batu seremban, bottlecaps, ice-
cream sticks, 'Pepsi Cola one-two-three', Cops and Robbers, main kejar-kejar duduk,getah... and for the not so active, those kind of 'book games' where we would use buku latihan to draw and ask our friends to play...

do you remember the ice-cream tubes which are actually ice and colouring that are sold for 10 to 20 cents.. the colourful ones.. where you usually bite off the top to glup it down.orange
tastes b best..(pop-ice)

what about days when we felt like doing naughty things such as folding papers so small to make 'lastik' amd shoot each other... how about throwing chalks??

back then, micheal jackson was just turning white.. and still had albums coming out.. compared to CD's, we were listening to tapes that sold for RM9.90...

in computer class, we were still using black and white computer moniters.. played 'Atari'... maybe SEGA or NINTENDO..

well, are we all getting older or what?

2) we have friends from school that are already married...

3) we shake our heads everytime we see high school students fussing about their handphones in school..

4) we don't hang on phone with our friends for hours a day talking about nothing...

5) when we meet back with our friends from time to time, we feel excited and happy talking about old times, the funny 'adventures' or stories that we experienced as a kid..

6) last but not least, that when you read this, you would think of all the happy & sad memories that you have experienced when you were still a kid and would think of forwarding this to your old friends that you have known since forever... i'm sure they would have a huge smile on their face after reading this.....

Miracles

Hey people!

For the past couple of weeks in EduCell, it’s been about miracles.

Miracles = the act of God

The word “miracle” has been used widely in society. Some perceive it as a phenomenon/ happening that was thought to be impossible. But I was told that without God in the equation, it’s not a miracle. Meaning…if you don’t believe in God, there’s no such thing as a miracle. That was a little bit troubling to hear, for me (as you know I’m a non-believer). Everybody wants a miracle to happen at some point in their lives, including myself. And to be told that without believing in a God, you won’t have a miracle, it’s quite sad…but oh well

Come to think of it, I’ve never experienced a miracle or perhaps I just never realize it. I don’t even use the word “miracle”…well, probably just a hand full of times but no more!

One point that I would like to highlight from the discussions during EduCell is “What is the purpose of biblical miracles?”
1- Assurance that God is always there and always watching over us
2- Knowing that God is working in our life
3- Show God’s love for his people and power to create
4- “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father”John 14:13. Meaning that any miracle that happens, it is to bring glory to God.

I guess the lesson that I’m trying to highlight is we should open our eyes to miracles and our faith will be strengthen even more.
Miracles doesn’t need to be big things like Jesus feeding the 5000, parting of the Red sea or the resurrection of Jesus but it can be small minute things like entering university with terrible results or getting back twice as much of money given out.

Something bout the Easter camp

Hey ppl!
There's actually so much to share about the camp but most of them are personal. keke...I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way, right? *grins*

Anyway, Easter camp has refreshed/rejuvenated everyone (not physically though. lol! totally drained all our energy especially after that DUCK WALK! Hehe...) I realised during cell group on Friday and service on Sunday that majority of the people were so hyper, happy. We all sang praise to the Lord with all our might and basically everything else we did was with more passion

The whole point of me pointing this out is that we shouldn't wait for an event like this to rekindle our spirits. This doesn't just apply for christians in terms of rekindling that first love for Christ but also for any human being...in our daily chores/duties/activities. We let our surroundings influence us too much and this brings me to the point of striving to be made out of Gopher material.

I suppose the lesson is that we should get up each morning and just find joy...enjoy and just want to be with Him cause I find that if you do everything for someone you love, do everything out of love, everything is bliss... =)

This is the challenge for all of us...

Hey there people.
Do you remember what we mentioned that life experiences are just like sands, where if you try to hold it in your hand, it would slip off, but if you let a hand mould it, it can become a nice castle.

On additional to that, how do you view stones in your life? It could be something that trips you and make you fall, it could be restrictions for you to move on. Whatever it is, it's something that all of us goes through in our life.

What if you add both of these elements together. Sand and rock, with the help of a catalyst, cement powder, you will obtain concrete. A must need for roads, houses, and buildings. If you let Jesus be the catalyst today, he can use all your life experiences, difficulties, you can build 20 storey buildings, 30 storey, and even a 50 storey building.

Friends, let's utilise our sand and rocks and mix it well with Jesus, and let's do something great with it.

Harlo .. This is a brief story of why we call ourselves passionate roses.
Think of a rose plant. A rose plant (if any of you tried to plant one), is very hard to plant. It is very prone to sickness, the sunlight must be zun zun one .. cannot too much, cannot too little.. Because of it's nature, you can't find roses in the middle of the desert. A gardener is required to take care of the rose plant.
Same for us. Jesus wants to be our gardener. If we choose to live in the desert without God, we will start to dry up, our leaves will start to fall, and we won't bear beautiful flowers. Therefore, want to encourage you all to be a rose plant and not be a cactus alright ..

Down South Trip and others..

hello everyone..

i'm so sorry for not updating the blog...

now is almost mid-Dec d.. n results is coming out soon.. how's everyone feeling??? nervous? anxious? or confident?

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Phil 4:6

so do not be anxious.. juz commit everything in prayer.. let us commit one another to God's hand.. pray that God can really move the hand of the examiner.. haha.. as a few of us in our cell is hoping to graduate.. IF our results is good.. nevertheless.. we know our future is in God's hands.. so do not need to worry..

right now, i want to thank God for a good trip and good fellowship throughout the few days we went down south.. i guess is my 1st time driving on our own.. going here n there.. though not much of experience to me.. but in this manner.. we as passanger play an important role too.. what are the role? that's to keep the driver alert loh.. haha..

but i believe all of us enjoy.. am i right? besides.. i get to know other ppl much better too.. usually this kind of trip.. u tend to get to c another side of that person.. as what Anna said now she onli knows that i'm very "silly".. but i tot i always like this.. wuahaha.. juz joking..

in this trip.. there's something bad happen to me.. that's my camera.. the screen broken.. well.. how it happen.. i'm not very sure.. but to think back.. i guess i put the camera at the back of my pant's pocket.. then i sat on the rock when we were at Augusta.. i onli found out when we left that place.. that time.. my heart suddenly felt the bitterness.. cant really feel that i can enjoy the trip anymore.. coz the camera wasn't mine.. n is my bro's one.. though it still can use.. but broken means not good anymore..

i tot i'm those always happy-go-lucky kind of girl.. always can cheer myself up even though bad things happen.. but i guess i'm wrong.. may b i know i've sad b4.. but i tend to not remember those sad time.. at that moment.. i really felt like is the end of the world.. coz i know my bro sure will scold me.. but thank God for friends..

n about yday's sermon.. as most of u know that i'm praying whether to stay on or to go back Msia or not.. so right now.. i want to position myself for a miracle.. may b the answer is no.. but at least i've given a try to position myself in that place.. or else.. if i don do anything.. i guess a little chance also i don have.. hehe.. ^_^

Last Cell Meeting 031106

last Friday, we had our last cell meeting at Wei Yue's house.. well.. we didnt do much.. juz had some game.. had Praise and Worship.. then Lawrence (our dear cell leader) came out with an idea where he actually printed our name on a piece of nice paper with border line n asked each of everyone of us write something nice about that person..

all of us were having alot of fun.. too bad Anna cant make it..

this is the game punishment where they need to hold the ball using a fork for 10secs.. haha..
n i dunno what is Lawrence laughing at.. haha..

we were having all the fun writing on each papers..

God's broken heart...

today's sermon was good.. it really touches my heart..

it makes me feel as if my heart broken.. but God put it back together again..

it really makes me reflect back all the wrong doing that are not favour in God's eyes.. makes me think back about everytime i fell, His heart is broken again and again..

always tell myself that i shouldn't be breaking God's heart anymore.. but 'spirit is willing, yet the flash is not'..

i really pray that God can continue to hold me up and go back to where i used to be or even higher.. to soar together with Him..

Hi all,

Actually I felt better when I shared my complex feeling in the cell group.

After I came back, I wrote down what I conluded during the whole day's reading of my theory for my assignment. I am expecting almost reaching the finishing line tomorrow so that I can join you all the lunch on Sunday.

When I finished today's assignment task and posted a diary in my own blog, I reminded that verse: For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you. (Jeremiah 29: 11-14)

Here, I really thank God put you here around me to encourage me by celebrating my birthday, adding into my sharings, and all your encouraging words. I just realized that, that is all God's love as He promised.

I hope each of us keep healthy until the end of this semester, get the wisdom from God, not only for studying but also for life choice.

Hey guys (and girls i mean) just want to share what came upon my heart today. From Wei Yue's sharing, and (i also don't know from where), suddenly i felt that it is very important to keep contacts with our parents neh .. I don't know why, but i felt that i miss my parents a lot .. Haha .. (what a guy right?? hehe) Partly the reason behind was that it's been quite a while since i talked to them, and i really felt the need and the feeling to talk to them neh .. Soo . i definately will be calling them tomorrow just to check on and see how are they.. Hehe .. and i just want to encourage you all to cherish the love ones that are around us ya ...

Hey everyone! hope you boys and girls had a great time tonight! especialy nigel since you're the birthday boy! i did and the cake was very nice!! =)

i thought cell tonight was great with our very own HIRO! i just found out tonight that he's actually a very smart boy when he was in elementary school. he knew how to weigh out to see who "suffers" more if he got into a fight then. his rationale was that if he fought back then both him and the other person would not only have injuries but also will be punished by the teacher. and if he were not to fight back then only the other person will get both injuries and punishment! because that person "started it first" (as many of us would to put it when we younger) ahaha

phew~ sorry guys and girls for not updating this blog regularly lately.. no worries.. i'm not that busy compare to others in our cell.. i'm juz packed with activities.. wuahaha.. u c my blog then u'll know.. haha..

anyway, yday i went to joined the Passion Training.. i benefit alot from it.. the 3 character we learned were Faithfulness, Discipline and Courage.. another thing i learned is that despite most of us are at peak hour due to semester coming to an end and assignment is piling up higher n higher.. yet, alot of Passion-ers were there to learn God's word.. cool..~~

ok.. let me share some pics we've taken for the last 2 weeks.. i'm still waiting for Wan Tze's mooncake festival pics..

we gave a surprise birthday to Wan Tze on the Wednesday (041006) night.. she really got a shocked.. haha.. Blessed Birthday to you once again!

A new week

Hi All，

How's the sunday service today? I know that Doug missed it, dint he? coz I received his msg after 12:00pm. Why Doug, r u still tired after last week's struggling with ur assignment?

I intended to bring my Mum to a Madarin service church which I v contacted with. But my Mum doesnt want to go. She got stomache after she came here. She missed the Perth Royal show and my graduation ceremony. I felt very sad. But I am happy that she came and took photo with me and my friends when the graduation ceremony finished. I felt quite sorry, because I can do little things to help my Mum get better.

Praise the Lord, after my praying for her, she is feeling better. I continu pray for the hardest month: my studies, my IELTS and the relationship with my Mum. I learned that I should be more patient for my Mum's salvation, maybe several years...haha, but I will continue pray...

Next Saturday is Weiyue's new born, a significant day for him a. For those who can attend the baptism service, please help me say 'congratulations' to him ya. I will get there as soon as I finish my IELTS test.

Hope everyone of you rejoice in the Lord, and get unlimited energy from His promise and love.

Fellowship Week

this week is the last week of the month.. n therefore we have a so called "Fellowship Week".. but the cell was still in Wei Yue's house..

we started with some game.. led by Naryn.. then followed by worship.. led by Nigel.. did one action song.. can c the different kind of look of everyone.. haha..

after worship.. we had some short sharing on Building Fund n some announcements.. n also shared something on the things happened over the week..

after that.. is F00D time.. yeah!! everyone cooked something.. n i think this is my 1st time i brought something that cooked by myself.. though is an easy cook food.. but at least i put effort n time for it.. haha..

when all of us were very full.. and was Dessert Time.. yet all of us still want to eat.. coz everyone juz cant resist the mouth watering desserts.. prepared by Naryn, Janice and Wei Yue.. yum yum..

after that.. we watched Nanny McPhee.. was a nice movie to me.. n i think all of us quite enjoy throughout the show.. n miracle happened to Wei Yue that he didnt sleep at all throughout the show.. wuahaha..

Hey all!

Wow so excited!! This will be my first blog hahaha after always failing to blog in my old cell =) How is everyone doing? I saw wei yue today at kfc hhah yeah i ate at kfc now i know why everyone says that kfc here is not good....hmm

Anyways, I just wanna say a big thanks to all who are involved in SFAS either those who are performing, helping backstage or ushering etc....your presence and participation contributes to the overall success of the event. I really did enjoy myself cant wait to see the videos of kim dancing!

Lunch today was good...it is so seldom that our members are not on duty and we can go off straight to eat and its so good hiro can join us hehhehe its a good thing he does not have tennis today!

hehehe i agree with nigel's plan for sports since we are having hols or even mini outings...anyway i am truly blessed to be in the same cell as all of you. Take care, have a great hols spend it wisely to catch up with our studies and fellowship!!

Hi everyone, this is Tz3 in da house :p

First of all, I would like to say, SFAS was awesome! I enjoy every moment, including the time we practise for our song. I would like to join the crowds although i seldom talk, and always day dream.
another thing, I would like to thank Lawrence to encouraged me by sending a sms. It is so nice and I felt I am energetic after I read the msg. I was very tired and I slept on the sofa inside the kicthen. HAHA... currently I do have same feeling like Nigel. Imagine u have been bz fo few weeks and suddenly everything is done, u will felt u have less thing to do, it is like... abnormal. But now I have to start doin my assignments d :( have to work out many things during the break. Hope you guys fully utilize the break in doing something which is meaningful or so called productive =D.

Search For A Star 2006!

alright, yday this hour.. everything about SFAS 2006 is over.. but is awesome.. isn't it?!

i was surprised to c someone posted in this blog.. it did encourage me.. really.. anyway.. i encourage everyone of us who went to SFAS 2006 to write down what u all expect b4 the event.. n after the event.. how u all feel n so on.. ok?

so let me start 1st..

b4 the SFAS
i cant really remember when's my 1st prac for this event.. but i still remember to learn Frances' move is not easy.. n she gave me that kind of look that her expectation on us is high.. but after a few prac.. i began to know what is she expecting from us.. n i also began to get used to the moves d.. hehe :)

when SFAS is getting nearer n nearer.. all of us were very worry yet excited.. coz i believe in my team - the Hip Hop.. many of us r 1st timer dancing on stage.. though i've alot of this kind of experience on performing infront of many ppl.. but seldom on such a big crowd n superb lighting.. so i really thank God for giving me this opportunity to use the gift He had gifted to me long ago..

since last sat, we've been prac everyday.. phew.. i'm sure alot of us sure will complain.. but i believe we can do it..

b4 7pm @ SFAS
was in the hall on Friday night to mark our position.. the hall is real huge.. reached home aroudn 12:15am.. slept around 1:30am.. coz need to pack alot of things for Sat..

Sat, reached the hall @ 8am.. did alot of rehearsals.. the coming in and out.. at 1st kinda not use to the stage.. coz is totally a different entrance n different flooring compare to what we use to prac in Zion Centre.. but later on.. we are ok..

i did prepare my lunch.. but didnt prepare any for dinner.. so i didnt eat anything b4 the event..

SFAS @ 7pm..
was very excited to c many of my friends there.. the 1st half of the event.. i was quite relax n was cheering all the way..

but when after the break, we have to go to the back stage to prepare d.. dunno was i too nervous.. i kept going to the toilet b4 our dance.. haha..

we were praying b4 our dance.. really pray hard that everything can go well..

when our dance is here.. i felt myself very nervous.. where i used to b.. everytime b4 i go on stage or do any presentation.. i'll b nervous.. but when i go out.. then i'm ok.. haha..

time was constraint where after the ballet, i need to help Frances to change into her hip hop outfit.. make me also more nervous d..

when is our hip hop turn.. i'm prepared.. n guess what i saw when i was standing at my intro position? i saw a watch on the floor.. haha.. n i was talking softly to my bro that time also.. haha..

when the music starts.. i was one of the 1st group that starts to walk.. but dunno y half way dancing.. when i fling my head.. i felt dizzy.. n ended up dancing abit faster than the others.. haih.. but anyhow.. i still continue it.. coz i know we cant show the audience that we did wrong or lost our steps.. n thank God, He was with me.. n i finished up the dance..

i like the finale the most.. where i can smile very joyful.. haha..

but after our dance.. i was crying at the backstage.. coz i danced wrongly.. n dunno y others also crying d.. may b bcoz we have put in all n that's it.. no more.. but i really thank God that we did well..

after SFAS

Hi all,

How r u yesterd nite? did u enjoy a lot?

How's each act? Do u hav ur favourite one?

I was at the backstage, the bad thing is can only hear but cunt see the acts. the good thing is can see our actors. saw them different emotions at the backstage. u know, I encouraged Sumi, the girll singing together with ZhengYi in the Drama, to 'Jia You' and keep calm. Actually, that time, I myself was also very stressed and nervous, hoho...anyway, I really learned and experieced a lot, also chanllenged my self. and suddently, felt blank in my mind after SFAS... probably should hav a regular, constant, long rest during the week break. and start next section of my research project.

Many thanks to Lawren, who msg me to encourage me when I felt stressed at study or SFAS.
Kim & Doug, u all did great job yesterday nite. Kim, although u felt faint n dint do ur best, u r awesome the whole day, n keep shining for God, and serving Him ya... Yi??? where was Naryn, n Wan Tze in this photo?

phew.. now is 2:57am.. n i'm still awake.. i was awake since this morning 9am.. phew.. extremely tired.. i can feel my whole body is aching..

why am i still awake at this hour? haha.. what else? of coz assignment lo.. but thank God for strenght n ideas.. i managed to finish my 3 pages with single line spacing in hmm.. let me count.. i started since 8:30pm.. til juz now.. wow.. 6 hours for 3 pages report.. siao wan ah.. but this 6 hours include walk to toilet, come back, walked to hall, sat down n watched abit of tv, walked back, went to kitchen n make a cup of hot milo, came back.. of coz the important things include like doing research lo.. haha..

today's dance prac was the most fun one.. coz all of us came together as a team n dance together.. really fun.. haha.. don want to tell u all much about what is gonna happen.. give u all a surprise on that night itself.. ok?

so remember to invite friends before is late.. haha..

Celebrating Cat's Birthday

today is Cat's bday.. at 1st, we planning to give her surprise at her house.. but she's too hardworking.. make us need to go to her building to look for her.. n this 201 building is so huge til we dunno where to look for her.. n we tried to ask ppl where's the studio can be.. so they said may b is 7th floor.. so we walked up all the way.. but unfortunately.. she's not there.. so we need to walk down all the way..

and Naryn tried to look for a way to ask her to come out so that we can give her a surprise.. too bad our plan didnt work out well as we estimated wrongly.. haha..

oh well.. we did took some pics n trying to understand about her course.. where i can c all above our heads got a big "question" marks.. haha.. at least i have one of the bigger ones.. haha..

Haha .. Actually the last one that I mentioned there is just a joke.. But Anna or Naryn, if it triggered any of your interest to join dance in the coming events, do let me know, and definately we as a whole cell would SUPPORT!!!
People, we have one week of holiday (for some, but not for all), I just want to give you all a gentle reminder to really use your time properly and to really invest into something. Remember, where you treasure is, there your heart will be too. Maybe you can invest in a book and read it, buy something interesting, and make full use of the time that God has give all of us alright.

Lunch outing @ Taurus

today we had our lunch outing @ Taurus..

onli me and Wei Yue did the 40 hours famine.. but he's the onli one asking for more.. haha.. n though the 3 girls cannot finish our food.. but teamwork really works as the other 4 guys finish all our potions too.. haha..

i like this kind of gathering.. hope to have more.. may b the next one in Frementle?! haha..

This is my first post ever in a blog. Haha .. Anyways, how are you people leh. SFAS is coming up around the corner already wor.. This time, our cell group has people dancing and there is people singing choir wor… it’s Kimberly who will be dancing and Wan Tze who will be in choir wor .. Did you all realize that there is people dancing at this two events? And to continue this tradition in the next event, there is a person who has come up and says that she is gonna dance. Don’t tell anyone who she is ya. Her name starts with “n” and ends with the same alphabeth too. Shh shh … don’t tell anyone ya.
Hope to see you all on Friday, same time same place ya..

last 2 weeks, i got a news from my mom that my grandma (Father side) had accepted Jesus Christ as her Saviour.. when my bro n I heard this.. we were praising in joy..

n juz now.. i saw one of my collegemate's msn, Wei Sim, from Metro that her nick goes like this.. "Love U more and more.. Lord".. i was kinda surprise to c that.. coz i know she's not a christian back home..

so i began to chat with her.. n she told me that few months ago, she had accepted Christ also.. wow.. praise the Lord.. i was so happy when i heard this news..

let us continue to step out and reach out.. and give God the glory He deserves..

this morning, i read on Psalm 90..

it says that friends come and go.. but God is ever faithful to us..

14 Satisfy us in the morning with Your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
15 Make us glad for as many days as You have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen trouble.

these 2 verses did make my day with joy.. juz want to share my joy with u all.. n i really thank God for the miracle He had given to me on my handphone..

Cell Meeting @ Wei Yue's House (110806 Friday)

we started with ice breaker prepared by Anna.. is called a coin game.. that means u need to hide the coin n pass it to the person next to you and still not letting the person at the centre find out..

so we played a few rounds, n ended up, Wei Yue got the punishment of doing the Mississippi word with his butt.. here's the video..

followed by Praise and Worship led by Nigel n Lawrence as our guitarist..

this is an action song which everyone must do..

after that, we had Lawrence to share with us.. about BLESSING..

there are 2 types of Blessing he mentioned, that will be Conditional and Unconditional Blessing.. one is that you need to work for it, another one is that bcoz of God's grace, He will still bless you no matter what...

after that, we breaked into 2 small groups and discuss on what had God blessed you and what you want God to bless you in future.. then we come back together in a big group, n Wei Yue shared some of his thoughts.. then we ended with prayer which everyone needs to pray one short line and pass it to another person.. n Lawrence closed with a prayer..

we had alot of foods as refreshments.. yum yum.. that's all for this week.. stay tune..

Combine Servie @ UWA (120806 Saturday)

due to Curtin Open Day on Sunday, we had our Combine Service with UWA.. n guess what? our beloved and handsome Wei Yue danced again.. here are some pictures..

Cell Outing @ Mill Point (130806 Sunday)
today we went to Mill Point for picnic..

at 1st, the weather wasn't very nice, early morning was raining, but may b God knows that we want to go out and have fun.. so he stopped the rain around 10something.. so we can go to Mill point according to our plan..

we reached Mill Point around 11:30am.. juz me, Wan Tze, Wei Yue and Nigel.. so we start the BBQ 1st b4 Lawrence's 2nd trip come..

while waiting for Lawrence to come back with the 2nd group of ppl, me and Wan Tze went and walked around.. n guess what? i saw the other cell group in the other side of the park.. haha.. there were like 3 cells there.. ahha.. looks like today is a great day for picnic..

when the 2nd group of ppl reached, they were Naryn, Anna, Pei Tjin, Cat and Doug.. we can finally start our picnic..

i guess muz b God that He make sure Lawrence's 2nd trip reached onli pour down some rain.. haha.. juz in time for us to hide under the hut.. n i also think in such a way is good that we can get closer together and also a time for us to know each other better..
n this is our food.. isn't it looks yummy??

after like half an hour, the rain finally stopped, n we can go out of the hut to feel the nice breeze.. and we had some group pic..

after the group pic, we had some games which need us to run around.. it was a nice game n fun and also a good time for me to exercise abit.. ahha..

after the game, everyone was kinda tired, some sat down bside the river, some went over to the other side to look for friends from other cell.. some continue to eat.. n here are some pictures we took that we saw some black swan..

Wei Yue went down to the river.. n that time we onli knew that he scared of Jeli Fish and got bad experience b4..

Janica, Adeline and some of their cell members came and drop by n joined us for fun after their picnic..

when we were ready to go back, the crazy bunch of "small kid" want to play the see-saw..

n us playing the swing.. haha.. get back all those childhood memory..

after that, Lawrence sent us back home..

Freshies Welcome!

today, Zion Praise Harvest had the Freshies Welcome..

the event kicked off with some ice breaker.. n here comes our Zion Chef from 'Malaysia' (actually from Singapore), and none other than our Wei Yue.. the emcees was asking for 2 volunteers.. n here come one Australia - Jesse, and one come from Malaysia - Edwin.. how come i know their name? coz Edwin is my brother.. haha.. anyway.. here are some pictures..

they were suppose to do the indomee.. c who's the fastest.. n the result was that Jesse won the game.. n won a whole pack of indomee.. haha..

hello everyone,
on behalf of Lawrence.. i'm here to help to create a blog for our cell.. so that we can post up some information, such as announcements or testimonies to share out with others..

actually i still havent have any proper planning with our beloved cell leader, Lawrence on how to use this blog.. but i do hope u guys will support.. haha..
